What reviewers are saying about Dominant Deception
Anna has suffered an unimaginable loss, so she keeps her head down and soldiers through each day. So when she comes across an unusual virus, she reports it and moves on. But moving on is not in the plans, at least for Anna. She has stepped into a minefield that puts her in the forefront of the cyber war against terror and places her life in danger. In steps Jack, commander of a new division and the man who has just become her new boss. And so it begins in the next installment of Bella Juarez’s Black Ops Brotherhood series. And while this is the third story, you can plop yourself right in without getting lost if this is your first time meeting the Brotherhood. I really loved Anna and Jack. Anna was so broken but she still persevered. She changed her entire life and while there was no passion and little enjoyment she still put one foot in front of the other. That changed with Jack. He wasn’t expecting Anna and wasn’t sure she could be trusted but he refused to allow Anna to coast. Especially when he found his emotions engaged. I loved how Ms. Juarez didn’t make it easy for either Jack or Anna. Both had to learn to trust in not only their emotions but each other. Danger surrounded them and politics were not their friend but together they found themselves stronger. Dominant Deception is well written and full of twists and turns. The chemistry between Anna and Jack is believable. Ms. Juarez allowed their relationship to grow in a naturally even if it wasn’t always easy. This story is well worth your time and your money.
